Description

We'll start our trip very early, with a hotel pick-up at 3:00 AM. From Cusco, it's a 5-hour ride to the village of Phinaya. Upon arrival, we'll enjoy a comforting Andean breakfast, ideal for acclimatizing and get ready for what's coming. Then, we'll continue by transport for 1hr until get closer to the imposing Quelccaya Suyuparina Glacier, recognized as the largest tropical glacier in the world. From where the vehicle route ends, you'll take a walk of about 15 - 20 minutes. During the tour, you'll witness the natural beauty of the place. When we get back to Phinaya, a typical local lunch, prepared with local ingredients, will be waiting for us. Then, we'll board our transport again to start the return trip to Cusco, making a special stop at the magical Sibinacocha Lagoon, one of the largest and most beautiful in the highlands. We'll finish near the Plaza de Armas between 7:30 PM and 8:00 PM

• Hotel pick-ups are from central locations around Cusco's Plaza de Armas. If your hotel is far from the historic center, the meeting point will be at the fountain in the main square. We'll let you know the exact pick-up time the day before the tour.
