Description

Embark on a day trip to Rainbow Mountain and discover its breathtaking beauty. During the tour, you will have the opportunity to see alpacas, llamas and vicuñas while enjoying spectacular views of the mountains. We will start by picking you up at your hotel in Cusco, where a driver will take you on a two-hour drive to Cusipata. There, you will stop for breakfast (not included) and stock up on water and snacks for the hike. After breakfast, you will continue for another hour to the starting point of the trek, located at 4,850 meters above sea level. From this point, you will begin a 3.5-kilometer hike, which will take you over flat, uphill terrain. Along the way, you will enjoy panoramic views of the valleys, llamas, alpacas and wild vicuñas, as well as the majestic Andes and nearby glaciers. Upon reaching the summit, you will be able to admire the first views of the Rainbow Mountain. Take a break to recover your strength and enjoy the scenery while you take some pictures. Afterwards, you will begin your descent and return to Cusipata, where you can enjoy a delicious lunch (not included). Finally, you will take the transport back to Cuzco, arriving at approximately 17:00. In addition, it is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, which gives you the flexibility to plan your excursion at the time you prefer.
