Description

Begin with a pickup in Puno and head to the Peru-Bolivia border. After completing the border formalities, continue to Copacabana, arriving around noon. Enjoy lunch and visit the Cathedral of Our Lady of Copacabana. Next, head to the pier to take a boat to the Island of the Sun. Cross Lake Titicaca to reach the south side of the island, where you’ll visit the Pilkoken archaeological site (Temple of the Sun). Walk down the Umani stairs from the Inca era and visit the Eternal Fountain of the Incas, where you can taste the holy water. Finally, take the boat back to Copacabana, arriving around 5:00 PM. Enjoy some free time before taking the bus back to Puno, arriving around 9:00 PM. End the tour with an authentic Puno folk show, where you can appreciate the cultural richness of the highlands through traditional dances, colorful costumes, and live music.
