Start your day with a pickup from your hotel in Puno and head to the port. Board a speedboat and set off on your journey across Lake Titicaca. As you cruise, admire the stunning views of the Titicaca Reserve, home to a variety of endemic birds. Arrive at the Uros Floating Islands, where your guide will explain the history and culture of this indigenous community. Learn how the islands are constructed and, if you choose, take an optional ride on a boat made of totora reeds for a closer look at the community. Continue your journey across the lake, taking in the spectacular views of the highest navigable lake in the world. Arrive at Taquile Island and enjoy a walking tour, where you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the Andes and Bolivia. Visit the Taquileños, one of the few native communities still governed by Inca codes.
