Description

We will pick you up in the morning from your hotel or accommodation in the city of Cusco and thus begin our adventure to the north of the region. The first place of visit will be Chinchero, we will visit a local community to see the Textile Interpretation Center, we will also take a guided tour of the Moray Archaeological Site considered the Inca Agricultural Laboratory, later we will pass through the town of Maras and we will also visit the Mines of Salt. We will go to the town of Urubamba, where we will have a buffet lunch of our Peruvian cuisine. At noon, we will continue our trip to our restaurant in Urubamba. We will take advantage of the time to have a delicious and nutritious Novo Andean buffet lunch, of exquisite Cusco cuisine. Continuing with our tour we go to the Archaeological Site of Ollantaytambo, which in the time of the Incas was a tambo or place to rest, it is also the starting point to reach the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. We will explore its most important stone buildings, such as: the large stone terraces, the Temple of the Sun and the fountain of the Princess Baths of the time. Returning to Cusco, we will head towards the town of Pisac. Upon reaching the town we will ascend until we reach the Pisaq Archaeological Site, which is built on top of a mountain. Upon returning to the town of Pisac we will visit its picturesque artisan market in the area, the local residents are experts in working with minerals, we will be able to make some purchases in the place. We will end the excursion by returning to the city of Cusco, the tour will end in the Plaza de San Francisco, around 6:30 or 7:00 p.m. approximately.
