Description
Enjoy an unforgettable experience exploring the Inca legacy and Andean traditions on this VIP tour in Portuguese, with a small group of up to 10 participants. In the morning, we'll leave Cusco for the Sacred Valley, passing through beautiful landscapes and local communities. The first stop is Maras, a charming colonial village known for its stone streets and artisan tradition. There, you can try chicha, a typical corn drink prepared by local families.
Next, we'll visit Moray, one of Peru's most impressive archaeological sites, with its circular agricultural terraces that functioned as an Inca laboratory. Our Portuguese-speaking guide will explain the fascinating theories about its use and importance in the empire's agriculture.
Then, we'll head to the Salineras de Maras, a set of over 3,000 salt ponds carved into the mountain, still active since Inca times. Walk along scenic trails and take in the incredible contrast of the salt pans' colors—white, cream, and pink—amid the mountains of the Sacred Valley.
During the tour, you'll have time to take photos, learn about the local culture, and, if you wish, buy handmade salt products at the local shops. On the way back, enjoy a typical Andean lunch or box lunch included, before heading back to Cusco in the middle of the afternoon.
A full day of discovery, nature, and culture, conducted entirely in Portuguese so you can enjoy every detail of this authentic experience in the heart of the Andes.
