Waqrapukara Tour from Cusco – Unforgettable Adventure Early pickup from Cusco: The Waqrapukara Tour from Cusco starts between 4:00 and 4:30 a.m. with pickup from each traveler’s hotel. Then, we head south of Cusco toward the village of Santa Lucía. ️ Buffet breakfast in Cusipata: Along the way, we stop in Cusipata to enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast before continuing the journey. Scenic hike to Waqrapukara: From Santa Lucía, we follow a zigzagging road to Punta Carretera. There, a scenic 1.5-hour hike (2.5 km) begins, offering panoramic views of the Andes. ️ Guided visit and free time: Upon arrival at the Waqrapukara archaeological site, we offer a guided tour and free time to explore and take pictures. This ancient fortress provides a powerful mix of culture, nature, and solitude. ️ Lunch and return to Cusco: After hiking back, we return to Cusipata for a hearty lunch. Finally, we arrive in Cusco between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m., finishing the day at Plaza Regocijo.
