Loved this relaxed and quiet budget hostel. Patricia at reception was extremely helpful. There is a kitchen available with a microwave and a kettle for making hot drinks. You an also get food ordered in. Highly recommended.
The room was huge, a family room that slept 6, and everything was very clean. The shower was hot and had good pressure. They let us park our motorcycles inside the main entrance which we really appreciated.
Great hostel in Ica. About a 20min walk from the bus station, lots of cafes and restaurants in walking distance (less than 5min) We arrived with a booking for the following month but the reception staff were helpful and let us check in directly with them and cancel our other booking. Good tours from reception with reasonable prices. Lots of common areas: large floor for hanging nearby the kitchen and whole upstairs area with couches + netflix. Overall great stay, did a tour to the sand dunes for sunset and a transfer to Paracas early the next morning. Great place to stop over before Lima
I really enjoyed my stay at Ica Adventures II Hostel. The highlight for me was definitely the room — it was huge, way more spacious than I expected, super clean and really comfortable. The bed was great, the bathroom very practical, and having Netflix was a nice touch after long days. The hostel has a chill vibe (not really a party hostel), which made it easy to relax. There are nice common areas, plus a rooftop terrace and a bar where you can order takeaway food — not the best food ever, but convenient. What stood out the most though was the staff. They were genuinely kind, and one of the girls went out of her way to help us fix an issue with our bus tickets, even calling customer service herself. That kind of help really stays with you when you’re traveling. The location felt safe and convenient, and overall the price is very fair for what you get. I’d definitely stay here again.
Amazing place, chilled hostel. Staff are incredible, the place is spotless and they do reasonably priced tours. Could do with air conditioning, especially in the communal areas, there’s a lot of chilling to be done in between activities around Ica and it would be good to have somewhere to escape the heat. I’d also recommend adding some more cooking facilities in the kitchen.
