Had a great dinner on our first night in Aguas Calientes! The food and drinks were amazing. The beef was cooked to a perfect medium-rare, and the seafood fried rice was a refreshing, delicious change it was absolutely packed with shrimp and octopus. The hosts we very nice and patient great atmosphere and the perfect start to our trip. Highly recommend!"
Food was great, presentation and taste-wise! we had to come back the next day for the ceviche and chicharron de cerdo cos it was amazing. Drinks also tasted great, we had maracuya sour and the blend was perfect We appreciate the staff so much, they were really nice, shoutout to Rebecca and the friendly man by the door, we briefly mentioned that it was my partner's birthday and they prepared a surprise for us without us asking!! Such a sweet gesture. Highly recommended❤️
We had a really nice dinner yesterday. We have ordered trout tartar ( really good), mixed ceviche with mash potatoes (really good), alpaca steak (really good) and alpaca burger (ok- just very dry). Portions were generous and good value for money. Service was a bit slow but staff were kind and friendly. We recommend this place if you are in the area. Menu is quite big so many options to choose from.
This is an absolute must in Aguas Calientes, far from standard city restaurants. The carefully chosen ingredients are creatively and deliciously prepared. The dishes are beautifully presented, and the service is warm and attentive. The staff provides excellent recommendations for dishes and wine pairings. Not to mention the highly skilled bartender who can prepare personalized cocktails for you—the Pisco Sour is one of the best in Peru. You can enjoy this entire experience at a similar price to standard city center restaurants. We are French and love food and wine—you can trust our advice! Just try it—it will make your day!
In a town where most restaurants have nearly identical menus Tunawa stands out with unique offerings. The two dishes we tried were both absolutely amazing, as beautiful to look at as they were delicious. Amazing punchy flavors that I haven’t had at other Peruvian restaurants. Drinks were also top notch. The servers were friendly and helped me find something to my taste. I would recommend anyone visiting Machu Pichu to skip past the places on the Main Street and head here. Loved it.
