Description

DAY 1: Lima - Paracas Our day starts with an early pick up, the bus will stop for breakfast, try a unique breakfast straight from the bread ovens of Mirasur and enjoy some of the freshest baked bread in Peru. Then you will go to Hacienda San Jose, in Chincha. Now a 5* star hotel the hacienda is a stunning colonial estate which during the Spanish conquest housed a huge plantation worked by thousands of slaves brought over from Africa. Visit the crazy labyrinth of underground tunnels used to illegally smuggle slaves 17km from the coast. An incredible history that gave rise to the modern-day Afro-Peruvian culture. You will be arriving in Paracas at 1:30 pm and will have the afternoon free. DAY 2: Paracas - Huacachina: At 8:00 am, you will go on the 2-hour boat tour of the Ballestas Islands, a smaller version of the Galapagos Islands. You'll see sea lions, penguins, and plenty of birds up close and in their natural habitat! Around 10:30 am, go on a guided tour of one of South America’s biggest protected desert reserves. Stunning Pacific coastline where the desert meets the ocean. At 12:30 pm, move on from Paracas to Huacachina, a natural oasis located in the Ica Desert home to the biggest sand dunes in South America. There, you will have free time to explore. Later, you will go on 2 hours of exhilarating dune buggying and sandboarding! Dune buggy up the sand dunes and sandboard down these giant hills of sand, a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Spend the night there. DAY 3: Huacachina - Nazca On day three, at 11:00 am, depart from Huacachina to the Pisco vineyard, try lots of free samples of Pisco, the national drink of Peru, and learn all about how it is made, from grape to bottle! Right after the vineyard, you will depart depart to Nazca. Around 5:30 pm, you will stop at the viewing tower in Nazca, from where you will be able to see 3 of the mysterious and world-famous Nazca Lines for free! There will be a dinner stop around 6:00 pm, for those who would like to get something to eat. You will spend the night in Nazca. DAY 4: Nazca - Lima You will have the opportunity to add the Cahuachi pyramids tour, just ask your guide! At 11:00 am, you will take the flight over the lines and discover many of the drawings sketched on the desert land. You will have free time from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. At 1:30 pm, you will go on the Cantalloc Aqueducts tour, considered one of the oldest irrigational systems in the world. These ancient water aqueducts built 2000 years ago enabled the Nazca Culture to bring water from the Andes to the Nazca Valley via underground channels, bringing life to the desert lowlands. At 3:00 pm you will travel back to Huacachina and later that night, at 7:00 pm, travel back to Lima, during which you can sit back and relax on the comfortable seats. At the end of your journey, you will be dropped off directly at your hotel/hostel, the bus will arrive in Miraflores around 11:30 pm, could be later depending on your drop off area.

• Passenger MUST present their original passport at the airport for the flight Passengers over 95 Kg must pay for an extra seat on the plane directly to the operator The bus will be back in Miraflores around 11:30 pm-midnight (will be later for Lima downtown) The minimum age for the buggy and sandboarding tour is 7 years The tour runs with slight adjustments during the following holidays: Easter weekend and Peru's Independence Day celebrations (July 28-30). The pick-up time will be 1 hour before the usual time.
