Description
On Day 1 of the Manu Jungle Expeditions, guests are picked up early from their Cusco hotel and driven through the Peruvian highlands to Manu National Park. The journey includes a stop at Paucartambo for a guided tour, a drive to a viewpoint at 3600 meters for Amazon basin views, and a descent into the National Park to explore cloud forest habitats. Guests can see various flora and fauna, including orchids, ferns, the Andean cock of the rock, and monkeys, before reaching Pilcopata and staying at Raim fores Lodge with lunch and dinner included. Day 2 starts with an Amazonian breakfast at the lodge, followed by a drive to Atalaya Port and a boat ride to Soga de Oro Lodge in the Amazon Rainforest. Guests hike through jungle trails, learn about medicinal plants, and possibly spot big animals. The day includes an Amazonian lunch at the lodge, leisure time for a swim in the Madre de Dios river, an evening bird-spotting raft trip, and an optional night safari to see caimans, with all meals provided. The final day begins with a boat ride to a Parrot Clay Lick, where guests observe parrots and parakeets. After breakfast, the group travels back to Cusco, arriving in the evening, with breakfast and lunch included.Includes
