I was recommended by a family member to give 13 monjas a try and it did not disappoint. I ordered the 13 monjas pizza which is made with seasonal ingredients and a pineapple juice. The pizza and juice were done freshly made. The pizza dough light and delicious. This is my new favorite pizza spot moving forward.
A great restaurant for tasty Italian food, delicious drinks and a really nice vibe. We visited twice during our stay in Arequipa. The staff were lovely, particularly Ricardo with his recommendations - thank you!
Without a doubt, this was the best restaurant we visited in Arequipa. From the moment we arrived, the service was absolutely outstanding. The staff were incredibly attentive, professional, and genuinely cared about making our experience as enjoyable as possible. Every interaction felt warm, thoughtful, and welcoming. The atmosphere was also fantastic—elegant, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing lunch. As for the food, it was simply exceptional. The starter was delicious, and the lasagna was honestly the best we have ever had. Every dish was prepared with great attention to detail, and the quality of the ingredients really stood out. This restaurant exceeded all our expectations and became one of the highlights of our time in Arequipa. We would recommend it 100% to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. Thank you to the entire team for such a wonderful meal. We will definitely return if we are ever back in Arequipa!
We had a great experience and amazing dinner at 13 Monjas. We had to wait a little on a Tuesday evening, but this is due to the popularity of the restaurant. From the moment we were seated we had Ricardo looking after us and he was very nice all evening. We have ordered the Carpaccio de Lomo, Pasta 13 Monjas, Pizza Americana and Honey cake (recommended by Ricardo). We might had a bit more food than we could handle, but all dishes were delicious. We can only recommend the place for any occasion.
Delicious pizza at 13 Monjas! Outdoor and indoor seating available. Make sure to reserve (via Whatsapp) as it can get really busy for dinner. Vegetarian options are available. The interior is really nice and very attentive to details. 13 Monjas also sells quality coffee (beans). This restaurant was a true highlight of our trip!
