In the High Jungle, the Chanchamayo Valley road is the habitat of numerous orchid species, including: Masdevallia ayabacana, Masdevallia echo, Masdevallia bicolor, Masdevallia jarae. The following varieties are also found in the area: Epidendrum, Chysis, Gongora, Lycaste, Maxillaria, Odontoglossum, Sobralia, Xylobium and many more.
