Amazon house was truly a lovely place to call home for a week. Rooms are very comfortable and clean, the location is super convenient and well suited for travelling into the main square and waterfront, and the thing that makes it the best is the staff! Always willing to help, extremely kind and as it’s a family run business you truly feel the personalised and intentional effort into the place to make it feel like a home.
I really wish I could’ve stayed longer in this hostel. The facilities were very good, with a USB charger situated at each bed. There was also a hot shower, fresh towels and a locker to store your belongings. The staff were extremely friendly, especially Carlos who gave my friends and I a lift to the airport for a very good price. The residents were lovely too, very easy to socialise in the kitchen and terrace as it is a very comfortable environment. I would 1000% recommend this place to anyone going to Iquitos.
Lovely hostel with a very family and home feeling environment. The pride was great, the breakfast amazing, and had wonderful conversations with new friends on the terrace with a gorgeous view of the city. This will be my go to now when I come through Iquitos. Thank you guys ❤️❤️
