Reviews
Cuesta Serena is an absolute gem of a hotel. From the warm, beautiful decor to the kind Peruvian hospitality, every detail makes you feel welcomed and cared for. The food was delicious, and the warm water bottle placed between the sheets to preheat the bed was a delightful and cozy perk after a day spent hiking and exploring the stunning Ancash region. A truly memorable stay in a truly remarkable place.
Only praise for this boutique hotel. Starting from its proximity to the airport and also the arrival to Huaraz is not far (takes about half an hour plus). The hotel is beautiful!! Beautifully decorated, the view is amazing, the food is great and the entire staff is pleasant and professional. The photos and descriptions on the hotel website do not reflect the beauty of the place, the beautiful rooms and the accuracy in the details. Highly recommended !!!!!
Amazing! We loved our stay. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. The food is delicious and the property is spectacular!
The hotel lobby and restaurant are very tastefully decorated, and the views are absolutely incredible. What stood out most however was the caring staff, who took such wonderful care of me while I was sick during our 3-day stay. Their kindness and attentiveness were truly appreciated. The only recommendation we would have is regarding the breakfast, I think you should be able to at least choose 2 dishes a la carte as most ppl like both savory and sweet for breakfast. Also having to pay extra for coffee from the machine for breakfast at a hotel in this price range did not feel appropriate. The food was a bit hit or miss as well — some dishes were very good, while others still have room for improvement. Other than that, it was a great stay and we were genuinely sad to leave.
Wow. The service here is just incredible! The staff is so kind and caring and the grounds are just beautiful! We loved all the little extra details that showed they cared about their guests. The views were incredible too. We only stayed one night but the dinner and breakfast were both 10/10. It’s only 5 minutes from the Huaraz airport.
