Reviews
Obviously a nice place aesthetically and service staff was nice, but rooms are small, water from our bathroom sink smelled horribly, and it seems the corporate vibe mentality of "cutting costs" prevailed. To clarify, we had two free drink vouchers, which were appreciated, but they were terribly small (we ordered a 2nd round of the same drinks and the ones we paid for were literally double the size). Also, we ordered room service for breakfast and our eggs Benedict were extremely small (like 4 bites, which was very expensive for portion size) and the quality was terrible. We do not recommend this hotel at all. We recommend guests find a local hotel that cares more about their guests than their shareholders.
What I love most about this hotel is the professionalism of the staff and their constant readiness to help. At the front desk, Stefanny and Daniel (the service manager) were excellent, and Hugo, part of the security team, truly stands out. He is always welcoming, attentive, and makes you feel safe and looked after from the moment you arrive. His presence adds a very personal and reassuring touch to the overall experience. This is the place I keep coming back to — it’s my third time in Lima this year. My only recommendation concerns room service. The food itself is good, but the presentation and setup could be improved. I also found the welcome cookie at check-in a bit unusual. I would personally prefer a more refreshing arrival experience, such as a clean cold or hot towel and a glass of chicha morada, which is such a symbolic drink in Peru. Another point is that the hotel does not provide sufficient vanity amenities. Apart from one soap on the first day, nothing else is replenished, even during a stay of one or two weeks. The rooftop bar is lovely. Perhaps adding a DJ on Saturdays could enhance the atmosphere. Overall, the hotel is great and the service is outstanding.
Location is optimal. Service is amazing. Rooms are beautiful and well kept. I stayed there for a few nights and preferred this over the other doubletree in Miraflores for the quality of Interiors and feel inside the hotel.
Excellent stay. This hotel is gorgeous and exceeded my expectations. The entire staff, from housekeeping to the waiters, reception, and doormen, were incredibly kind and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of buffet items and à la carte options included. Even the late-night room service was solid. The terrace has a nice pool and a hot tub. The location feels safe and there are plenty of great restaurants nearby. My only complaint is that the bathroom and shower setup is not very private, which makes sharing the room awkward if you are not close with the person you’re staying with. The terrace hot tub could also be a bit warmer. Still, these are minor issues. I’d recommend this hotel and would gladly stay again.
