Stayed for a week and a half. February is off season so it was quieter but still plenty of opportunity to make friends through shared rooms, dance classes, yoga, the bar, Spanish class, and more. Booked a great Colca Canyon tour through this hostel (other tours available too). Particularly appreciate the small ammentities such as free tea/coffee all day, included breakfast, a clothing swap bin, laundry service (for a fee), rooftop access, patio. It's a relaxing place to hang out and reset. Great security, 24/7 reception. My best part of the stay was the staff and volunteers; kind and helpful!! They really made my time on Arequipa memorable. The Hostel is quiet big but was not very full when I stayed. The people at the reception were always helpful and giving me advice for cafes and restaurants. The Hostel has a little patio in the back, which is nice and the brwakfast is very simple but okay. The rooms are basic but bed are very comfortable. Had a nice very relaxes stay. Sadly the hostel activities did not take place because there were too few people, it would be nice if the team would activate the guest to participate but I guess it was rainy season and therefor very low frequency.
Amazing hostel for an affordable prize. Plenty of cute little areas to chill (you have access to the rooftop it’s so beautiful up there), they clean the rooms everyday and the staff is very sweet and helpful! It really feels like home:)
Great hostel near the center of Arequipa. Beds are very comfortable, kitchen is well equipped. However I think the staff and volunteers really made the place feel like home. I had checked about 5 different hostels to see which one I liked the most. The first person I met when I checked here was Johana who immediately made me feel welcome and at ease. The decision was easy from there as to where to stay while in Arequipa. Thanks Econunay, hope to come back soon!!
