It’s pricey but if you are only gonna be in Lima for a couple or 3 days this is the place. Centrally located off the beach. Walking distance to tonnes of stuff. Great staff ans I mean across the board there seems to be such a culture for customer service. I was disappointed that I had an early departure and could not have the breakfast buffet one more time !!
JW Marriott Lima provided one of the finest hotel experiences we have had in recent years. After an exhausting day of significant flight delays, we arrived at the hotel tired, only to be immediately welcomed with warmth, professionalism, and genuine kindness. Mary Carman, in particular, stood out for her gracious demeanor and thoughtful assistance. She made us feel cared for from the very beginning and set the tone for an exceptional stay. The Club Lounge was truly outstanding, offering excellent lunch, and dinner service each day. We especially appreciated the Friday evening sushi selection, which was a delightful touch. As Titanium members, we were upgraded to a beautiful ocean-view room, and we were deeply grateful for both the late checkout and the extended lounge access that allowed us to comfortably wait for our late-night flight. What impressed us most, however, was the consistency of the hospitality throughout the property. Every member of the staff — at the front desk, in the restaurants, and in the lounge — was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly. Our stay exceeded expectations in every respect. We left feeling rested, valued, and sincerely appreciative of the care we received. We would enthusiastically recommend JW Marriott Lima to our friends, family, and colleagues, and we look forward to returning in the future.
This is the hotel to stay at while visiting Lima. From before the arrival experience, the staff was quick to respond, offer suggestions on activities/restaurants and help me coordinate transportation from the airport. The Breakfast is delicious, with different daily specials. We ordered room service one evening (a kids salad - is def an adult portion!) and the FB server, Xiomara was simply the best. The room is clean, the shower is hot with high pressure. The housekeeping staff is attentive, spent extra time organizing our amenities. If you have access to the executive lounge, the food is delicious and available until 3pm. The views of the ocean are simply breathtaking. If you think you are going to walk to the ocean, it’ll take you 30 minutes to walk down the cliff. Download the app “cabify” its their version of Uber; every ride is so cheap (its about 25 minutes to the airport; it cost roughly $20); Barranca is a must visit neighborhood, and you can take cabify there for about $3-5 USD. There is 24/7 security at the hotel and you’ll never feel unsafe at the property. Thank you team Lima!
We were visiting Lima after being in Cusco and we are so happy that we stayed here. This hotel is in Miraflores which is one of the best areas in Lima. Across the street is a outdoor walking mall, including restaurants overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The hotel itself was incredible, clean and extremely friendly. There's a concierge on staff who helped us with all of our questions. There is a spa, gym and restaurant. Sushi bar opened at 3:00. It was very good. The other restaurant was a buffet style which we did not prefer. So we chose to meet at the market which had very fresh sandwiches, coffees and teas. We chosen Ocean view hotel room and we're very happy with that. The sun sets facing the West were incredible. The only downside of this hotel was the distance from the airport. It was about an hour drive. Next time we are in Lima, we will definitely be staying here.
We had such a great experience at this hotel. For my husband’s birthday, they surprised him with a special note and gorgeously decorated cake. The food was excellent and the gym was huge and had everything we needed to get a great workout in. It was also directly across the street from a nice mall and beautiful Pacific Ocean views.
