We were stuck in traffic in Tumbes for more than 2 hours and only moved 2 blocks, so we decided to get a hotel. The Wyndham wanted $220 for a room. Yeah, sure. So, we found this hotel on a quiet side street and were pleasantly surprised. It is small but chic and new. The service is excellent and our room was very nice. Only about $50. Although the shower was a bit cold, the bed was very comfortable. They even started our day off with a complimentary cup of coffee and chicken salad sliders. Overall, a great place to stay in Tumbes, if you must.
Thank you, Hotel Kigelia! Everything was excellent. The room was very comfortable, and the air conditioning and TV worked perfectly. The hotel exceeded my expectations. The location is also very convenient, just one block from Tumbes Plaza de Armas. The staff were very polite, friendly, and always helpful whenever I had any questions. I highly recommend Hotel Kigelia, and I hope to return and stay there again in the future.
A very good experience in Tumbes, very well located close to everything, the rooms were spotless. My husband and I stayed for four days. My congratulations to the lady who brought us breakfast every day, very charismatic.
