Our stay at the Meliá Lima on Avenida Salaverry was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of pure elegance and genuine warmth. The way this hotel trains and treats its staff truly reflects in the flawless hospitality they extend to their guests. A few standout mentions that made our trip unforgettable: Grover at the Front Desk: He welcomed us with incredible professionalism and warmth. Check-in was seamless, and his helpful attitude set the perfect tone for our entire stay. Juan in the Private Lounge: Juan provided absolutely impeccable service. He was attentive, intuitive, and made sure we had everything we needed, making the lounge feel like a luxurious home away from home. And the food! Every meal we had was exquisite—perfectly prepared, beautifully presented, and bursting with the incredible flavors Lima is known for. If you are looking for top-tier service, elegant surroundings, and an amazing location in Lima, look no further than the Meliá. We cannot wait to return! Alicia Caballero & Oscar Chacaltana Lipovec

The hotel is wonderful, clean and elegant. Centered in the San Isidro Financial downtown district which was safe and convenient to everthing. Check-in was fast and easy, Bryon was very pleasant and had options for us as we were at the hotel quite early. The room we chose was in the Level section so it came with wonderful perks. It was spotless with upgraded bathroom amenities, the bed was very comfy with multiple pillows and silent at night, perfect. Access to the Level Lounge we utilized everyday Maria, Rosemary and Daniel were all perfect hosts, and the food and drinks were exceptional We had a wonderful time and would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Lima.

TThis hotel in Lima is highly recommended for short visits. The staff is exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to assist. The food is unbelievably delicious, especially in the lounge for platinum members. Additionally, a delightful chocolate dessert was provided as a welcome gift. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning soon. The location is convenient for walking around as well.

We expected more from a 5 star hotel. For example, there is no hotel shuttle from the airport available,l and the hotel did not even arrange transportation when asked. Room was noisy, because the hotel sits at an intersection of two busy streets and there is a lot of honking. The windows are not insulated. The buffet was average. Overall, they could do much better for the price

We recently stayed at the Meliá Hotel in Lima and overall had a pleasant experience. The staff were mostly very friendly, the food was good, and the rooms were perfectly fine. Unfortunately, a major issue affected our stay. Due to a water pipe burst, our room was flooded and the floor remained completely wet for two days, making it very uncomfortable to even use the bathroom. We reported this at reception. While one receptionist tried to help, the manager showed no understanding, was not very friendly, and did not offer any apology or compensation. We were not even offered a room change—until they called us at 9:30 pm on our last night asking us to move, which felt unreasonable. Instead, they insisted on only discussing the issue face-to-face, which was frustrating. This lack of response and understanding significantly impacted our stay. Therefore, I would rate the hotel only 2–3 stars.
