This place was so amazing my girlfriend and I came back a second time months later. The owner, Charlie, has created a great space in the beautiful foothills of the Cordillera Blanca: solar panels provide electricity, gas and a filter with the nearby water source means clean and hot water, beehives produce local honey, his three dogs are friendly and calm, an historic lake is in the backyard, Yanina cooks amazing meals and dessert daily - I could go on. We are super happy to have gotten away from Huaraz and to this beautiful space, would highly recommend.

CB Lodge exceeded our expectations in every way. We loved the beautiful location, comfortable rooms and beds, breathtaking balcony views, delicious food, and warm, attentive staff. Charly, the owner, provides exceptional personal attention and carefully helps each guest select hikes that match their acclimatization and fitness level. The lodge is an ideal base for adjusting to the altitude before embarking on longer treks. There are wonderful day hikes directly from the property, with many more accessible via a short taxi ride. We highly recommend staying here.

Stayed here in June 2025. Georgous location, excellent rooms and catering. The views of the mountain are amazing and the isolated location make it a great getaway from all the noise of central Huaraz. While the dogs bark at first they are very friendly once they get to know you. I arrived here after a good 12 hours of hiking and this was the perfect paradise after a long trek.

We loved our stay at the beautiful Cordillera Blanca Lodge with its yummy food and great location near a number of hikes. We stayed there as part of our pre-trek acclimatisation plan to gradually increase our sleeping elevation (lodge is at 11,500 feet) and our hiking elevation to between 11,000 to 15,000 feet. Highly recommend it!
