Description

This 3-day tour to the Colca canyon starts with a pick up from your accommodation in Arequipa. Once we pick up every participant, we head towards the Colca Valley. At the Colca region we pay the entrace fee and then continue to Chivay, the biggest town in the Colca valley. In Chivay we have a delicious breakfast and then continue to the Condors croos. Once in the Condors croos we make a one-hour walk and your guide will explain about the Colca, the condors and the wild life. In the condors' cross you will be able to watch the amazing condors flying. The condor is one of the biggest flying birds on earth and see them flying is all an experience. After watching the Condors flying, we will continue our journey to Cabanaconde, from where we will start hiking down until reaching the town called 'San Juan de Chuccho'. To get to that town we walk around 4 hours and in that town we have lunch and rest until the next day. On the second day after breakfast we continue towards Sangalle, the place where we sleep the second night. To get to Sangalle is about 4 hours, but once we get there you can enjoy the swimming pool and amenities of the hostel. On the third day we hike up the canyon and get back again to Cabanaconde to have breakfast and wait for our van to arrive to start the journey back. After Having breakfast in Cabanaconde you will be taken to the hot springs for a refreshing bath. The entrance fee to the hot springs is not included but it only costs 20 soles. In that place you can also rent a towel, the use of the toilets is included. After the hot springs you will be taken to a buffet restaurant where you can choose to eat something from the menu or pay for the buffet and eat everything you like. Once everyone is ready with the lunch, we will drive towards Puno and will arrive around 19:00 hrs. This service does not include drop off at your accommodation although we drop you off one block away from Puno's main square.
