Description

Peru, due to its geographic location, should be a tropical country, with a warm and rainy climate; however, it is a country of varied subtropical and tropical climates due to the existence of two determining factors that completely modify its ecological conditions: the Andes Mountain Range and the marine currents (Pacific Ocean) of the Humboldt and El Niño. According to these determining factors, Peru has almost all the climatological variants that occur in the world. Located under the equatorial line and the summer months are from December to March, the sun rises very early (although sometimes the sky is cloudy in the mornings), in Paracas and Ica (temperature 31° C) it is sunny almost all year round. Departure from Lima: The tour usually starts early in the morning with a pick-up from your hotel in Lima. The drive to Paracas takes around three to four hours, depending on traffic. Ballestas Islands boat tour: From the Paracas Peninsula, you'll take a boat tour to the Ballestas Islands, often referred to as the 'Peruvian Galapagos.' These islands are home to a variety of seabirds, including pelicans, boobies, and Humboldt penguins. You may also spot sea lions, dolphins, and, if you're lucky, even whales. After the boat tour, you'll have some free time to relax and walk around Paracas Boulevard. Transfer from Paracas bay to Ica City. Pisco & wine tasting in a Winery in Ica city, free time to have lunch (not included). Huacachina Oasis: In the afternoon, you'll continue your journey to the desert oasis of Huacachina, located near the city of Ica. Huacachina is a picturesque oasis surrounded by towering sand dunes, creating a unique and beautiful landscape. Dune buggying and sandboarding: Once in Huacachina, you'll have the opportunity to experience the adrenaline rush of dune buggying and sandboarding. Hop on a dune buggy, driven by an experienced guide, and ride through the vast sand dunes at high speed. You can also try sandboarding, which is like snowboarding but on sand. Expert instructors will provide guidance for beginners. Drive back from Ica to Lima city. Accommodation drop-off.
