If you’re in Lima, or planning a trip to Lima, Peru, this is a restaurant you simply can’t miss. The dishes are exquisite, the flavors are truly unique, and the menu stands out from anything else you’ll find in the city. And whatever you do, don’t leave without trying the sourdough bread—it’s absolutely spectacular. To all my traveler friends: here’s a new place to add to your list of must-visit spots in Peru.
Lots of great variety in the chef's choice tasting menu The house bread has a shatteringly crisp crust. Several delightful bites including tiradito, crab toast, lettuce cup and shortbreads. Mains included seafood curry, whitefish in a soy ginger sauce, and short rib with lentils. Topped off with a whimsical and refreshing key lime "pie".
In general the food was good. I’ve seen more reviews about the carpaccio being covered in sauce and this is also my opionion. The octopus dish was delicious and the sous vide steak from my boyfriend as well. For the pricerange and as a tourist you would expect a more enthousiast service. Also. My boyfriend does not like cheese or egg and we told two waiters. Then he got his fries with Parmesan cheese.. A bit annoying. The food came quick on the positive side. And their caramel dessert, I could eat it every day! ✨ Overall it was good but could be better.
The attention to detail, the atmosphere, the quality of the food, the service, everything is 10/10. I'd recommend the carpaccio, the Carrillera and the Mollejas. You can't leave without trying their famous Crema Volteada, it is out of this world
Food was exceptional, experience of variety of taste and amazing menu. Many areas and the terrace indoors is beautifully decorated. Service and attention from the staff can definitely be improved. No hostess when we arrive and slow from the waiters for that high end restaurant. Highly recommend the scallops and the octopus with pesto quinoa. Must try and famous for the dessert: Crema Volteada 10/10!!!
