Embark on a unique culinary journey through the flavors of Peru! At 8:30 AM or 2:00 PM, we will pick you up at your accommodation and, together with an expert chef and a local guide, take you to a traditional market in the Surquillo district, one of the most vibrant and authentic places in Lima. Here you will have the opportunity to choose from three delicious options to learn how to cook: fish, chicken or meat, always with the option of vegan versions.
We will start the day exploring the market, where you can interact with local vendors and learn about the fresh, local ingredients that make Peruvian cuisine unique. After purchasing the ingredients, we will head to our modern kitchen to begin preparing the dishes. If you choose fish, you will learn how to prepare the famous 'Ceviche' as a starter, followed by a delicious 'Pescado a la Chorrillana'. If you prefer chicken, we will teach you how to make the traditional 'Causa Limeña' and the mild 'Aji de Pollo', a dish full of flavor but not spicy. And if meat is your thing, you can prepare the delicious 'Papa Rellena' as a starter, followed by the iconic 'Lomo Saltado', a dish that mixes beef with onions, tomatoes and french fries, all accompanied by rice!
During the cooking class, you will not only learn how to prepare these iconic dishes, but you will also discover techniques, methods and culinary secrets that will allow you to recreate these dishes at home. The atmosphere will be relaxed and fun, without long waiting times, as we focus on a practical and dynamic approach. In addition, as we move forward in the preparation of the dishes, we will offer tasting rounds so you can savor and enjoy what you are creating.
At the end of the class, you will enjoy the delicious dishes you prepared yourself, and you will be able to take home new knowledge about Peruvian cuisine. Afterwards, we will return you to your hotel or, if you prefer, we will let you explore the city walking around at your own pace.

- Option 1: FISH
Start with the Peruvian national dish, the 'Ceviche': raw fish marinated in lime juice, onions and sweet potatoes. Then, enjoy the 'Pescado a la Chorrillana' with fried onions, tomatoes and fish broth.
**Option 2: CHICKEN
Get ready for 'Causa Limeña', organic yellow potatoes seasoned with lime and chili, stuffed with fresh vegetables. For the main course, 'Ají de Pollo', chicken strips with a creamy sauce of aji amarillo, cheese and milk.
**Option 3: MEAT
Enjoy 'Papa Rellena', mashed potato balls stuffed with meat, vegetables or quinoa, accompanied with 'salsa criolla'. As a main dish, 'Lomo Saltado', beef tenderloin sautéed with onions, tomatoes and chili, served with french fries and rice.
