What a wonderful experience! The food was absolutely delicious! The meat was cooked to perfection. Our waiter Andre was incredibly friendly. The dessert was refreshing and finger-licking good!

We had a fantastic lunch here. We started with the sharing platters; one of cheese for the vegetarians and the Antipasto Alpandino for the rest. These were both delicious with a great selection of cheeses and meats. For the main courses we all had variations on the Roesti; the rosti style potatoes cooked in a cast iron skillet served with meat, fish or mushrooms and a sauce. These were amazing; so full of flavour from the sauces and with beautifully cooked trout or medium rare steak or mushrooms. We all agreed they were very good, but none of us could finish them as we had already eaten starters and the servings were big! We finished off the meal with an espresso and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Arequipa.

WOW !! JUST QUITE SIMPLY FANTASTIC !! After being recommended to visit this restaurant by local tour guides as well as our hotel reception staff we decided to give this restaurant a go Well above and beyond expectations !!, having eaten meals out all over Europe this has to be one of the best if not the best meal out we’ve had !! The meat was cooked to perfection, We had chicken, beef steak, lamb and alpaca, also the soup was the best I’ve ever had ! Even better than french onion soup in Paris The sharing cheese and ham board went really well with the wine ! The wine was excellent, I love a red wine when it’s served from a wine fridge at the correct temperature The service staff also explained each dish when it arrived We were able to get a table without prior reservation, although it was advised to book a table in advance, as it’s always busy here.. I can see why !, it’s absolute perfection for service food and drink !

Couldn’t recommend enough. Great prices, awesome opportunity to try different meats, especially alpaca. Taste was amazing! Tip #1 Order a level lower than your regular meat cook if you get the volcano plate because it will continue to cook once served Tip #2 Make sure you wear the bib.. volcano plate = meat & oil spitting haha
