Inés is a great waitress. The service is excellent. The music was good to listen to. I really liked la bamba. I had the alpaca burger, a camu camu pisco sour and the volcano cake. It was all very delicious 😋.
Excellent experience at Chullos Restaurant! The lunch was delicious and very generous in portion size. A special thanks to Ana for her warm, attentive, and professional service, which made our meal even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Aguas Calientes!
My partner and I woke up dealing with some unexpected illness the day we were to visit Machu Picchu, and since the tickets were booked months ago, we just had to handle it. After a long day exploring Machu Picchu, we stopped at Chullos for dinner before getting on our train. Our server was Ana, who is an ANGEL. She clocked that we were feeling ill and suggested some herbal tea for us. We perked RIGHT up after spending all day feeling unwell. The food was incredible and Ana’s service was wonderful. At one point a flautist came in to the restaurant and played some live music, which was very nice as well. The vibes were great, the restaurant is right on the river and is close to the train, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend. And THANK YOU ANA
This has been my favorite restaurant in Peru so far. Huge menu with a nice variety of options; beautiful Peruvian food with a few pasta/pizza /burger options for the less adventurous in my group. Food was outstanding, service was excellent. Location next to the river was beautiful. Price was super reasonable! We absolutely loved their many drinks options (Including non-alcoholic sodas and drinks) after our hike to Machu Picchu.
Very nice ambiance with more upscale feel and right next to the Urubamba River. Enjoyed the homemade soda, octopus and mango ceviche as others have recommended! But was a bit disappointed because we mainly chose to come for the Italian options and the pizza was okay, but the tiramisu was very disappointing. The tiramisu was priced even more expensive than some of the entrees so was considerably small portion. Pizza and tiramisu not nearly the same quality as the ones we had in Italy. *also catered towards tourists as they ask if you want to add tip when it comes time to pay the bill
