May 21, 2026: Our Salkantay Trek hiking team had a fantastic time dining in this classic bistro! Everything was amazing! The food was delicious and very freshly prepared! I loved my alpaca carpaccio, paring with some fresh vegetables, and that’s the first time I ate a meat carpaccio. But be aware that your food would come in very large portions! Australia review: huge portion sizes, great quality fish, meat and vegetables. The best “side salad” of steamed veggies I’ve ever had. We had tuna ceviche 10/10 and alpaca medium rare 8/10- bit tough but delicious and beautiful sauce. Massive venue great for large groups, was over at least 2 levels with 300+ seats? Highly recommend for a meal while up here
Before visiting I was a bit skeptical as most of the reviews said it was recommended by their guide, which was same in my case too! Glad I visited this place, the ambience is wonderful. You have plenty of space to sit. The portions sizes are huge and is value for money. Would recommend visiting this place instead of other high-end restaurants in AC
A hotel staff member recommended this restaurant, and I went there for lunch after visiting the Machu Picchu ruins. Hand-made signs with unique characters guided me to the restaurant. The decorations and lovely furniture made me feel as if I were in a fantasy world. I ordered avocado with papaya as an appetizer, followed by salmon trout meunière for the main course, along with a glass of pisco sour. Every dish was generously portioned, and the flavors exceeded my expectations. I absolutely loved this restaurant and highly recommend it.
An amazing experience! 🤩 We visited El Indio Feliz in Aguas Calientes and everything was absolutely delicious. As a starter, we had the beef carpaccio — fresh, perfectly seasoned, and full of flavor. For the main course, we ordered the chicken with mushroom cream sauce… the taste is simply indescribable. The sauce is rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced, and the chicken was incredibly juicy and cooked to perfection. Definitely one of those dishes you won’t forget! To finish, we had the profiteroles, which were the perfect ending: soft, sweet, and absolutely irresistible. Be sure to order the set menu — it’s more than enough for two people. Excellent service, charming atmosphere, and spectacular food. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Aguas Calientes. I would definitely come back! 🇵🇪✨
