Just came back from Peru, Arequipa last week. Tanta is my absolute favourite restaurant in whole South-America. I have been to Arequipa 3 times and I mostly eat in Tanta. They have very versatile menu, so there is plenty to choose from. Every single dish I have tasted so far has been amazing!! They have all day happy hour for some cocktails as well. Considering the location of the restaurant (old town, tourist area) the prices are reasonable. The service is exceptional. I think they already know us every time we go there as we visit it so often. Special thanks to Saturnino, Alonso (Bernardo), Brandon for always taking extra good care of us. I shall visit Tanta again next year, during the alpaca fiesta 2027! Can’t wait! Greetings from Norway!

Seated quickly in the outdoor area as the restaurant was busy. Our order was taken quickly and the food didn't take long despite a huge table going in before us. The chicken salad was delicious with egg, avocado, lettuce, tomato and dressing. Very filling and a reasonable price.
