Description

PICK UP Hotel or Airport with a member of the YAKUMAMA AMAZON TOURS team (naturalist guide) who will be there waiting to receive you, then we will take a private car (1 hour ½, approx.) to go to the city of Nauta, (Nauta port located on the Marañón River), then we will take our typical wooden-roofed boat to navigate approximately 5 hours to the Lodge, along the Pacaya Samiria, (our lodge is located in the reserva pacaya samiria). During this first navigation, you may see some activities of river birds, dolphins and river people. LUNCH TIME: Table Service / Self-service Buffet. CULTURAL VISIT TO THE LOCAL RIVER VILLAGE - The river people always live in small villages along the river, because the river is their main way to go everywhere, to get fish to eat and sell, some villages do not have treated water at home so sometimes they get water from the river or from the rain, this jungle dweller tries their best to live here by getting the supplies from nature and others make very beautiful handicrafts to get some money. SWIMMING / WATCHING PINK AND GRAY DOLPHINS - Combined with Sunset! SUNSET ON THE RIVER -Do you think it is almost impossible to see a sunset and not dream? Do not lose hope!!! You will fully enjoy the sunset in nature, jumping between dew-covered trees or sailing along a seemingly calm river called the Amazon. A perfect moment in between (5:45 to 6:15) to appreciate one of the most impressive flashes of sun on the mighty Amazon River and also a splendid glow in the sky. This is the most relaxing way to end the day, you can take a bottle of wine with you and toast to being in the Amazon, a wonderful place enjoying the breathtaking view and the refreshing breeze, also during this excursion... find some animals like dolphins grays or the pink, a small flock of birds (egrets, small parrots, black sniffers, terns... or maybe on the way back to the lodge you may suddenly find an alligator... who knows... anyway , the jungle is a place full of surprises, just enjoy it.This excursion can be combined with another connected to the big river and last longer and enjoy more time to the fullest.Visit and learn the local culture, beliefs, lifestyle, dialects, education , etc. is a way to interact and feel the real life of the people of the Amazon, children are always happy to meet new friends from all over the world and if you brought some school supplies this is the time to give them away and h make them smile and light up their happiness SWIMMING / WATCHING PINK AND GRAY DOLPHINS - Combined with Sunset! DINNER TIME: Table Service / Self-service Buffet. NIGHT WALK IN THE JUNGLE - We prepare to go into the jungle wearing our rubber boots, which is the best way to walk in the bush and let's meet and look for some strange creature like us: night monkeys, possums, snakes, frogs, toads, bullet ants, spiders, tarantulas, scorpions, insects, small reptiles, lezons, etc.

Pick up from the airport from 6:00 am to 6:20 am. (Boarding starts at 6:30am). Transfer to the lodge inside the jungle. Single/double/multiple room. Guide services (Spanish/English). Activities inside the jungle. Rain boots in case you require it. Trips mentioned in the program. Transportation by road Iquitos-Nauta (round trip) in exclusive mobility for the group. River transport by outboard motor boat, Nauta - Yarina (Round trip). Payment for the right to enter the Pacaya Samiria Reserve and taxes. Hostel accommodation based on double rooms. All practices specified in the itinerary inside the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve. Local guide during the trip, stay and all the activities of the program. 1 section return to the city at the end of the tours. Return to the airport. (Arrival time to the airport from the fluvial port approx. 3:40 pm to 4:00 pm, consider schedule to avoid missing flights). Return to the hotel. (You must tell us the name and address of your hotel).

Important Information

Remember that the accommodation is in rustic cabins without much luxury, there is no telephone signal, no Wi-Fi, no swimming pool, the jungle can be very wild, come with an open idea of adventure and to face strenuous climates and conditions. You must inform us of your pick-up place in advance one day before your arrival or start of the tour, otherwise you may lose the tour. Inform the detail of your time and flight number in case you want us to pick you up from the airport. If your flight arrives in Iquitos at 8:30 am, you have already lost the tour without claim. YOU MUST ARRIVE ONE DAY EARLIER TO IQUITOS OR ON FLIGHTS BEFORE 7AM
