Description

Embark on a unique 2-hour journey aboard a group ecological vessel and uncover the mysterious secrets of the Paracas Candelabra. Immerse yourself in the astounding marine biodiversity of the Ballestas Islands, home to sea lions, Humboldt penguins, and guano birds. Explore the Paracas National Reserve for 3 hours in comfortable private transportation, traversing iconic beaches, viewpoints, cliffs, and fossils, in addition to visiting the interpretation center, a stop that few agencies include. The day begins with a meeting with the tour guide at 7:45 am at the agreed meeting point in Paracas. At 8:00 am, we embark on the exciting excursion to the Ballestas Islands, where for approximately 2 hours we'll admire the iconic Paracas Candelabra before heading towards the impressive Ballestas Islands. There, marvel at marine life such as sea lions, Humboldt penguins, and a variety of guano bird species, as well as fascinating rock formations as we explore this natural paradise. Afterwards, you'll have approximately 1 hour to stroll along the Paracas boulevard, where you can purchase local crafts and souvenirs. At 11:00 am, we'll meet again with the guide to begin the tour of the Paracas National Reserve in a private vehicle, enjoying a 3-hour journey through spectacular cliffs, beaches, and points of interest such as the Paracas Cathedral, the Itsmo viewpoint, Red Beach, and Lagunillas Beach, where you'll have time for lunch (not included) and a refreshing swim (optional). Finally, we'll conclude the excursion with a visit to the Interpretation Center, where we'll learn about the region's history, geology, and marine and terrestrial biodiversity. Around 3:00 pm, we'll return in our comfortable private transportation to the starting point, thus completing this enriching experience and exploring the best of Paracas in just 5 hours.

  • If weather conditions are dangerous, the excursion will be postponed or canceled. If you are prone to seasickness, avoid eating heavily before departure. Optional pickup is available at hotels or the bus station in Paracas. Customers staying outside of Paracas must select the meeting point option. Lunch (optional) at Lagunillas Beach is not included in the service.
