In Texas, BBQ is a religion. BBQ in Texas is a religion, normally we don't usually accompany it with sauces, we use pickles instead. Their meat is smoked patiently at the correct temperature only with wood, they do not use gas or coal and season the meat only what is necessary for it to shine in all its expression.
 
At home we usually sell it by weight (kilos) and accompany it with white bread and if you wish they also have accompaniments of your choice.
