We did the tasting menu and ordered a few drinks and everything was delicious. I highly recommend trying Obachan’s dumplings as the flavors are very unique and delectable. The servers are also very kind and knowledgeable, open to explaining each dish in depth.
Must visit restaurant in Lima: incredible food with amazing flavour combinations, excellent service and outstanding price/quality! Favourite restaurant in Lima by far!
It was a spectacular dinning experience. Cocktails were extremely elevated, food was spectacular, definitely an excellent example of Nikkei cuisine. Get the bone marrow taco, the dumpling (mandatory), and anything else they recommend.
This place is amazing. The vibes, the food, the service. 10/10! Review copied from Beli --- --- Vibe --- Long narrowish building with ambient lighting. Great choice of music at pleasant volume, apparently curated by the chef WHICH INLCUDED VULFPECK and Mac Miller and Anderson Paak!!!! I swear it made the food taste better. --- Dranks --- Negroni was incredible. Bitter blend instead of straight Campari, so familiar, but different enough. Ice sphere was giant and covered in a hard butter (pre-chocolate) that contained the water as ice melted to prevent concentration from changing. --- Food --- EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!! Server was nice enough to allow me to split standard portions (normally for 2 people) for half cost so I could try more of the menu. The Gaijin is the single most delicious bite I've ever experienced. --- Value --- Came out to like $70 USD after tip which I consider a fantastic deal considering all that I ate!
