Wow! What a magic place. We went for lunch and it was perfect. The garden with fruit trees was so charming, food was all local and incredibly good, and the set menu was so reasonably priced at PEN 18. They also have a great assortment of coffees, teas and homemade drinks. We loved it.

The variety of food was outstanding, with every meal that provided to us being of a high quality with amazing flavour. The service was always great, with each of the staff making amazing efforts to ensure that our experience was the best that it could have been.
Pakakuna is one of those hidden gems you stumble upon when arriving in a new town. Just one block from Urubamba’s main square, it offers some of the best Peruvian fusion cuisine around. They also have a delicious daily option where you can build your own dish by choosing two or three items from a variety of fresh ingredients. It’s one of my go-to spots—whether I’m craving something really tasty for an everyday meal or looking for a place that feels a bit more special.
My husband and I ate dinner here during our one night stay in Urubamba and I can easily say the food was absolutely incredible. Probably the best meal that we have eaten so far on our vacation in Peru, and we’ve had many delicious meals. I highly recommend anyone in the area going here and enjoying the gorgeous and relaxing ambience of sitting in an outside garden, in the shade of a multitude of trees and plants, while eating incredible food!!!
